With the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 right around the corner, two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders joined the other franchises and revealed their latest jersey that the players will be donning in the tournament.
KKR shared a video across various social media platforms where the likes of Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, and many other stars were seen wearing their new jersey. Done is shades of golden and purple, the jersey is a little different from their previous edition as now it has more of the dotted pattern.
“Making a statement yet again, in Purple & Gold!” KKR captioned the post as they revealed their latest threads.
While KKR emerged as ultimate champions in IPL 2012 and 2014 under the sturdy captaincy of Gautam Gambhir, they failed to flaunt dominance after it. In the 2022 edition of IPL, the team finished in 7th position on the points table with just six victories in 14 games. KKR will kick off their IPL 2023 campaign against Punjab Kings on April 1 in Mohali.
