Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Eliminator of the IPL 2023 on Wednesday, May 24, at MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai. Both teams met each other in the 63rd match of the ongoing IPL at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, in Lucknow, where the Lucknow Super Giants defeated the Mumbai Indians by five runs. 

LSG will be coming into the contest after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by the margin of one run in their own den. Marcus Stoinis has been the man in form for LSG as he aggregated 368 runs at an average of 30.66 with an excellent strike rate of 150.20. Nicholas Pooran came up with a few good knocks whenever needed and he managed to score 358 runs. Speaking of the bowling department, Ravi Bishnoi has picked 16 wickets in 14 matches. LSG would Look to beat Mumbai Indians and make their way to Qualifier 2.
 
Mumbai Indians will come into the contest after a comfortable win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous game. Suryakumar Yadav leads the batting chart with 511 runs in 14 games at an average of 42.58 with an impressive strike rate of 185.14. Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green have managed to aggregate 439 and 381 runs, respectively. In the bowling department, Piyush Chawla has picked 20 wickets in 14 matches.MI would also look beat Lucknow Super Giants and make their way to Qualifier 2.
