When did India last win Hong Kong Sixes?
The Hong Kong Sixes returns after a seven-year hiatus. South Africa are the defending champions of the league. They won the title back in 2017. The Proteas are the joint-most successful team in the competition alongside England as both teams won the coveted title on five occasions each. The first edition of the tournament was held back in 1992.
India won the title for the first time in 2005 as they defeated the West Indies in the final. This was the only time the Asian side won the competition. They have assembled a compact side for the impending edition of the tournament and hope to go the distance by getting the better of the other 11 teams.

The tournament gets underway on November 1 as South Africa cross swords with Hong Kong. A total of 29 matches will be played in the three-day tournament. A Women’s Exhibition Match is also set to be played on the final day of the tournament to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
