Mitchell Marsh
The Australian all-rounder continued his sensational form and played a breathtaking knock of 96 (84) smashing 13 fours and three sixes in his innings. He stitched a 137-run stand with Steve Smith for the second wicket and Australia crossed the 200-run mark in 28 overs.
Rohit Sharma
The Indian captain came out all guns blazing as he got his team off to a breathtaking start. Rohit Sharma played a scintillating innings of 81 off 57 balls smashing five fours and six sixes in his innings and completed his half century off just 31 balls. Sharma added 74 runs for the first wicket off 65 balls with Washington Sundar and got India’s run chase off to a rollicking start.

Jasprit Bumrah
India’s pace spearhead was expensive in his first spell but came back strongly in his second burst as he ended up picking three wickets. Bumrah picked up the prized scalps of Marnus Labuschagne (72 off 58), Alex Carey (11 off 19) and Glenn Maxwell (5 off 7) to put breaks on Australia’s scoring rate in the middle overs.
Glenn Maxwell
The Australian all-rounder registered figures of 4/40 in ten overs as he brought the Indian batting down to their knees during their chase. Maxwell picked up the big scalps of Rohit Sharma (81 off 57), Washington Sundar (18 off 30), Virat Kohli (56 off 61) and Shreyas Iyer (48 off 43) to stop the flurry of runs during the Indian innings.
