Team India have recently finished a limited-over series with Sri Lanka and all the players will be away from the cricketing action for some time. Amid much-needed leisure time, some star players have been in vacation mode.

However, just like his unique humour, Team India’s Test and ODI Captain Rohit Sharma had other ideas. The simpleton and gem of a person the Hitman is, recently, he spent some quality time with his closest friends. The Mumbai-based batter recently shared some pictures of his latest meet-up with pals on his social media. The big hitter was spotted wearing training gear. Sharma donned a neon green coloured t-shirt with jogging footwear.

“Mandali,” Rohit captioned his post thereby emphasizing the importance of friends in his life.

Apart from him, another notable person was India’s newly elected assistant coach and Rohit’s close friend, Abhishek Nayar. Notably, the word ‘Mandali’ means “a group of friends”. Hence, it comes as no surprise that Nayar has a closely knitted bond with the Indian Captain and the caption justifies the hitman’s stature as a leader when it comes to leading in a team environment.
