IND vs PAK: Naseem Shah breaks down after loss against India

In a high-voltage T20 World Cup 2024 clash between India and Pakistan, India beat Pakistan by 6 runs at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and chose to bowl against India where the Men in Blue put up a target of 120 runs with no wickets to spare.

After the defeat, Pakistan’s star bowler Naseem Shah was seen crying. He came in to bat at number 8 where he hit 2 fours when the team needed 14 runs off 4 bowls. In the first innings, Shah took three wickets in his four overs with an economy of 5.25.

Bumrah’s fiery spell against Pakistan

Jasprit Bumrah played like a saviour for the Indian team. He saved some crucial runs and took a wicket in the 19th over of the innings. He performed exactly when it was needed for the team and saved India from the loss against Pakistan.

The target set by the Indian team was 120 where they lost all 10 wickets. On the other hand, the Men in Blue played like true winners and defended the lowest score in the T20I history. Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets in his allotted four overs with an economy of 3.50. The start pacer saved the Indian team from a disappointing loss.

The Yorker King also won the deserving Man of the Match award for his fiery spell against the Men in Green. Pakistan gave a tough start and even in the second innings. But the Indian bowlers were no less, they continuously gave the opponents a rough start and restricted them to 114.
