In the 29th over, Ravichandran Ashwin delivered a just-short-of-length ball targeting the off stump. Ollie Pope attempted a forceful back-foot shot, but only managed a thick outside edge towards first slip, where captain Rohit Sharma was stationed. Despite the ball flying past him, Rohit showcased remarkable reflexes, moving his hands in sync with the ball’s trajectory and securing a sharp catch on his left side. Television replays later revealed that Rohit completed the catch within a mere 0.45 seconds of Pope’s edge, showcasing his agility and alertness on the field.
