England are playing their last game on their tour to India in Ahmedabad. The two teams locked horns in third and final ODI at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium on February 12. Ahead of the game, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced an “Donate Organs, Save Lives” initiative to support the cause of organ donation.
As both teams took ground in Ahmedabad, the players were seen sporting a green armband as a part of the noble initiative, which encourages people to pledge their organs. It is worth noting that, India head coach Gautam Gambhir haspledged to donate his organs at the launch of the initiative.
