India and Bangladesh continued their ongoing T20I series by facing off in the second match of the three-game series. Both sides locked horns at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on October 9, and the clash began with India coming into bat first after losing the toss.
The home team opened their innings with Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma scoring 10 and 15 runs, respectively. After the openers failed to go big, skipper Suryakumar Yadav too departed early as he only managed to score eight runs.
The knocks of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh stabilized the innings for India after a shaky start. Reddy amassed 74 runs in 34 deliveries, whereas Rinku Singh scored 53 runs in 29 deliveries. Furthermore, ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya put in a good performance with the bat as well.
The all-rounder scored 32 runs in 19 deliveries alongside Riyan Parag, who added 15 runs on the board as India posted a total of 221 runs in the first innings of the game.
As for Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain was the highest wicket-taker with three wickets to his name. Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mustafizur Rahman took two wickets each as well.

India clinch T20I series following excellent bowling
Aiming to chase down a target of 222 runs, Bangladesh opened their innings with Parvez Hossain Emon and Litton Das scoring 16 and 14 runs, respectively. Najmul Hossain Shanto and Towhid Hridoy scored 11 and two runs, respectively, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz adding 16 runs to the scoreboard.
India’s bowling attack was an excellent showing to dismiss Bangladesh’s batters and clinch the series. Mahmudullah was the highest run-getter for the visitors in the second innings with 41 runs in 39 deliveries.
India’s bowling attack brought Bangladesh to 135/9 in the end as the Men in Blue won the second T20I of the series by 86 runs and the series as well.
