Ravindra Jadeja took his 300th Test wicket on Day 4 of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park, Kanpur on Monday, September 30.
The Saurashtra all-rounder has already scored 3122 runs in his Test career. On Monday, he took the final Bangladesh wicket to fall in the first innings. Bangladeshi pacer Khaled Ahmed got a leading edge in his attempt to play across the line and ended up giving a simple return catch to Jadeja. This was his 300th Test wicket as the veteran entered an illustrious club of players who have scored a minimum of 3000 runs and also taken at least 300 wickets.

Jadeja, in fact, is the second-fastest to the landmark, getting there in his 74th Test appearance. Meanwhile, legendary all-rounder Ian Botham holds the record for getting there the quickest. The cricketer-turned-commentator got to his milestone during his 74th Test match.
