India-Australia T20I series experiences high-scoring contests

The ongoing series has been a treat to watch for the fans, as all the three games held so far have been high-scoring ones. All the games held at Vizag, Trivandrum, and Guwahati have seen the team batting first score at least 200 runs against the opposition. In fact, the lowest total of the five-game series has been 191/9 by Australia, which came in a losing cause against the Men in Blue’s 235/4 in the first innings at Trivandrum.

On top of that, all the games have gone down to the 40th over of the match. The third T20I saw the Aussie snatch victory from the Suryakumar Yadav-led side, as they pulled off 43 runs off the last two overs courtesy of Glenn Maxwell‘s blitzkrieg (104 off 48). Now, the teams will be playing fourth T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan International Cricket Stadium in Raipur on Friday.

Given the boundary dimensions and batting-friendly nature of the surface at Chinnaswamy, a similar thriller and a contest with an assemblage of runs can be expected when the teams lock horns for the curtain drawer in the garden city on Sunday.
