Sharjah Warriorz though, beat Gulf Giants in a last-ball thriller. Faced with a tricky 174 to chase, Tom Kohler-Cadmore carried the innings on his back amidst a collapse. He put up 105 with Rohan Mustafa but the latter’s dismissal sparked another collapse until Kohler-Cadmore took charge of the situation in the end overs with the equation eventually down to 8 runs needed off 3 balls. Kohler-Cadmore hit the next ball for six and then ran the remaining two off the very last ball of the match to hand-deliver a thriller victory.

Currently, the Abu Dhabi-based team is placed last on the ILT20 2025 Points Table, while the Sharjah Warriorz are the third-placed side with two points to their name. As a result, the Knight Riders will want to open their winning account, whereas, Warriorz would want to continue their winning momentum.
