Bhuvneshwar out of Indian team prospects

The 34-year-old has been sidelined by the national team with his last game for India dating back to 2022. He played the third T20I against New Zealand in Napier and since then has not donned the blue jersey. The third ODI against South Africa in 2022 at the Boland Park in Paarl was his latest outing for India in ODIs.

Moreover, as BCCI announced four teams for the upcoming Duleep Trophy, Bhuvneshwar’s name did not make it to the roster. But the right-arm pacer has been dazzling in the domestic circuit and red-ball cricket. Lucknow Falcons went all guns blazing to sign the pacer and made him the most expensive player in the league.
