In this post, we will discuss – Yash Dayal greets his mother ‘How are you feeling mom?’after delivering match-winning over against CSK over a video call. Yash Dayal was the hero of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on May 19. In a do-or-die clash with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), RCB trusted their pacer Dayal to defend 17 runs off the final over. It all depended on the pacer to maintain his composure and deliver, as it turned out he did the same against marauding MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja. Bengaluru won the game by 27 runs and theoretically nine runs and were through to the playoffs in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).
Dayal is infamously known to have conceded five consecutive sixes off the last over as Rinku Singh played a miraculous innings in a chase in IPL 2023. He was criticized much for his bowling abilities and was a fodder for trolls on social media. Understandably, his family was also at the receiving end of the criticism and the first thing Dayal did after bowling match-winning over was to check on his mother.

“Kaisa feel kar rahi ho (how are you feeling mom?),” uttered Dayal over a video call to his mom after the game.
Yash said he was confident of pulling it off after the first-ball six: Chandrapal
The right-arm pacer’s family was overwhelmed after their son’s magical performance. While he had a lot to prove to the world, he found solace in the contentment of his parents. Chandrapal, Dayal’s father, revealed that his son said that he was confident of containing Dhoni after being hit for the six on the first ball.
“I was confident of pulling it off after the first-ball six and was calm and composed, Yash said about the last over. Woh darawana sapna firse aa raha tha jab Dhoni ne pehli ball pe sixer mara (That terrifying dream of last season started to haunt me when Dhoni hit that 110-m six off the first ball). Khana Khane ko time hi nahin mila hai itne sare phone calls aa rahe hain subaah se (I haven’t had time to eat with the inundation of calls since morning,” said Chandrapal as quoted by News18.
