The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is well underway, and the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings, after losing the season opener of the tournament, Chennai registered their first win as they beat the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants in the sixth match of the tournament.

Recently, the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings, DJ Bravo, took to his Instagram to upload a video where the team skipper, MS Dhoni, was seen wishing Bravo’s mother a happy birthday as she had turned 65.

Apart from Dhoni, there were many other Chennai stars, who wished Bravo’s mother on her birthday. Bravo shared the heartfelt wishes on his Instagram account.

Bravo captioned the post, saying “All my mum wanted this year for her birthday was a @chennaiipl win. She got the most perfect gift we won‼️. Congratulations to my team and teammates on a great victory. Now help me wish my champion mummy a Happy 65th Birthday. Best wishes lots of love from her champion son and the entire @chennaiipl team.”

In the video, the CSK skipper, Dhoni, said, “Hi, mummy Bravo. Wish you a very happy 65th birthday! Please have some cake from my side, I will put on Bravo’s face, all the very best.”

Chennai Super Kings won their first game of the IPL 2023 against Lucknow Super Giants

As Chennai lost the season opener of the IPL 2023, the MS Dhoni-led side made a resilient comeback in the very next game as they made their triumphant return to the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Through excellent batting performances by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, Chennai posted 217 runs on the board. Thereafter, the veteran English all-rounder, Moeen Ali, followed it up with a fabulous bowling spell that propelled the four-time champions to a win. CSK will now be gearing up for a thrilling clash as they take on the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians on Saturday, April 8, at the Wankhede Stadium.
