Day 2 of the ongoing fifth Test between Australia and India saw the visitors make a comeback in the game. After the Indian team was limited to a score of 185 runs in the first innings, the side put in a good performance with the ball as Australia came out to bat.
One of the most talked-about moments came when Jasprit Bumrah came out to bowl to youngster Sam Konstas. It is worth noting that Konstas got on Bumrah’s nerves in the latter stages of day 1 by sledging him, and day 2 began with Konstas getting hit on the body by Bumrah’s deliveries in an attempt to hit the pacer out of the ground.
However, not finding success, Konstas settled into a defensive stance in the first session of day 2. Virat Kohli, always vocal on the field, said, “Yes Bumrah, there’s your man now,” poking fun at Konstas. Furthermore, Bumrah decided to join in and say that Konstas is playing like a No.10 batter.
