‘He’s getting rewarded for his hard work’ – Arshdeep Singh heaps praise on Ravi Bishnoi after India clinch Sri Lanka T20I series

Team India defeated Sri Lanka in the second T20I of the ongoing series, and registering their second straight win, India also clinched the series. India defeated Sri Lanka in the first two T20Is held at the Pallekele International Stadium. After the game, star bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi came forward and lauded each other.

Arshdeep talked about Ravi Bishnoi’s habits and how he always seems to be in a hurry. However, he did reveal what kind of person Bishnoi is and how big of a heart the star spinner has.

“He is always in a hurry, he takes his lunch very quickly. Similarly, he took three wickets very quickly today. He has a big heart, and in the last match, he got hit with a ball but continued to bowl despite it. Today, too he put in an excellent spell, and he is getting rewarded for the hard work that he has put in,” Arshdeep Singh said in a video shared by the BCCI.

“We have a good relationship on and off the field, having fun off the field and performing to the peak of our powers on the field is what we both aim to do,” he added.

Furthermore, in the same interview, Ravi Bishnoi also opened up about his relationship with Arshdeep Singh. He also reacted to Arshdeep’s comments about him doing everything so quickly.

“This is in me since my childhood, I get hungry very fast; it is an honour for me that Arshdeep said such things about me, we do have a good bond, and you do have to keep a never-give-up attitude if you are playing any sport,” Bishnoi said.

After winning the first two Tests, India will now take on Sri Lanka in the final T20I of the series. Both sides will face off at the Pallekele International Stadium on Tuesday, July 30.
