Hardik Pandya citing return in IPL 2024
Pandya’s absence from the Indian cricket team has been palpable. However, his return as the captain of the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming IPL 2024 season brings hope and excitement to fans eagerly awaiting his comeback.
In the absence of Pandya from the Indian T20I team, Suryakumar Yadav took over the leadership duties during matches against Australia and South Africa. Yadav’s captaincy and on-field performances garnered attention. However, during the T20I series against South Africa, Yadav sustained an ankle injury, prompting Rohit Sharma to take over as captain for the Afghanistan series. Sharma returned to the T20I setup after a gap of more than a year.
