In a significant development, both Australia and the West Indies have unveiled their lineups for the much-anticipated first Test set to unfold in Adelaide on January 17.

With the departure of David Warner, Australian captain Pat Cummins has confirmed that Cameron Green will be making a return to the squad, taking up the crucial No. 4 spot. Notably, this marks a new beginning for Steven Smith, who is all set to embrace the role of a Test opener.
