In the ongoing game of the Duleep Trophy between India A and India B, star batter Rishabh Pant was sent packing for just seven runs on day 1 of the game. India B began the game by batting first but quickly fell prey to India A’s bowling attack.

Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran scored 30 and 13 runs, respectively, with Sarfaraz Khan scoring nine runs as well. The incident happened in the 36th over of the game as Akash Deep managed to dismiss Pant on the second delivery of the over.

As Akash Deep bowled the delivery, Pant mishit the shot and lifted the ball up in the air and Shubman Gill running with his back towards the ball, went for it and managed to catch it in brilliant fashion. The clip of the same was shared by BCCI Domestic on their social media handle and has been going viral all over social media.
