India A and India D are hard at work, taking on each other in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. India D found themselves in a very precarious situation as they looked to chase down 488 runs in the second innings to win the game. India D got off to a subpar start to the run chase, opening the innings with Yash Dubey scoring 37 runs in 94 deliveries, with Atharva Taide getting out for a duck.

However, it was the resilience of 27-year-old Ricky Bhui that kept India D in the game. Coming into bat after the fall of one wicket, Bhui played a marvellous knock and kept India A’s bowling attack at bay.

Coming out to bat, Bhui scored 113 runs in 195 deliveries and helped India D come close to the mammoth target. However, after scoring 113 runs, Tanush Kotian was the bowler who finally managed to dismiss Bhui after Riyan Parag took his catch.

Saurabh Kumar and Harshit Rana left after scoring 22 and 24 runs, respectively. By the 83rd over of the second innings, India D scored 301 runs but had lost nine wickets in the process.
