The film, GOAT is a big-budget Tamil science-fiction film with an estimated budget of ₹300 – 400 crore that involves elements of time travel. Vijay plays a double role as both father and son in the film, and the movie is expected to earn big bucks at the box office on release. The film entails a majestic cast including Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, and Yogi Babu. One of the main themes of the film is time travel.

Interestingly, Dhoni has never made an appearance in a film before. However, he has a biopic “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, a 190-minute sports/drama film that was released in 2016. The lead actor playing Dhoni’s character was Sushant Singh Rajput. The duo of Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni have also produced a Tamil romantic-comedy film directed by Ramesh Thamilmani in his directorial debut last year.
