Cricket is one of the most popular sports in England and the English cricket team has achieved immense success in this sport in the last two decades. In 2010, the English team won their first International Cricket Council (ICC) trophy, winning the 2010 T20 World Cup. Their biggest achievement came in 2019 as they clinched their maiden World Cup title under Eoin Morgan.
These massive successes exhibit that England players are striving their best to elevate the popularity of cricket in their country with their performances. Besides cricket, there are also some events to recall when English cricketers were seen promoting Baseball. Revisiting those incidents, let’s talk about five English players who attended baseball events.

Back in 2017, when MLB hosted its first-ever Home Run Derby in Britain, Hales was seen donning an LA Dodgers jersey. The event was held in London’s iconic venue Hyde Park and Hales was seen hitting some spectacular shots with a baseball bat.

Both Buttler and Hales made their international debuts for England in 2011. The latter bid adieu to international cricket in August 2023 while the former is still active in the business and has been serving his national side as a skipper in white-ball formats since 2022.
