Cricket Buzz: Social media trends on September 25

The cricket fraternity was once again quite active on September 25. Many former and current stars took centre stage to give their take on the various happening across the globe. Former Indian cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath came forward to congratulate the India women’s team for winning the gold medal at the Asian Games 2023 cricket competition. Besides, many stars like Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and many more congratulated the team as well.

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan named his four semi-finalists for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. Meanwhile, former legendary India bowler Venkatesh Prasad tweeted to convey his message to the India Women’s team. He hoped that the team would continue to rise and achieve new glory. In some other notable personalities, the former Sri Lanka legend and skipper Sanath Jayasuriya congratulated the Indian team for scripting history by clinching Gold in the Asian Games 2023.
