The 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy saw team India dominate the Aussies in the first two Tests of the series. The wins in Nagpur and Delhi saw the hosts marking their dominance on the trophy once again. The third Test saw a shift in momentum as Australia dismantled the Indian batting line-up in Indore.

Currently, the series stands 2-1 in India’s favor and the hosts will be keen on making it 3-1 as a spot in the World Test Championship final is at stake. The fourth Test between both teams will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday, March 9.

Ahead of the match, Indian stars like Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Cheteshwar Pujara were seen posing for a picture as the squad made their way to Ahmedabad for the series decider.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja could be key once again

If there is one thing to take away from the first three Test matches, it is that spinners could once again play an integral role in the team’s victory. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin took the majority of wickets for India across the three matches. Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kuhnemann were also exceptional for the visitors as they were influential in the team’s win in Indore.

After skipper Pat Cummins ruled himself out of the final match as well, it is likely that Australia will be under the leadership of Steve Smith once again. After they won the third Test, it would be interesting to see if Smith’s tactics could play a big role once again. Rohit Sharma-led India would look to go all out as well as a win would see them seal their spot in the WTC final.
