Hazlewood joined the squad in Adelaide for the second ODI. Bartlett is also in Adelaide as a travelling reserve for the second match.
‘Josh is an integral member of the ODI and T20I teams’ : George Bailey on skipper for 3rd ODI
Josh Inglis will be captain for the third ODI and the T20 Series. He becomes Australia’s 30th ODI captain and 14th T20I captain in the absence of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Marsh.
Chair of Selectors, George Bailey said: “Josh is an integral member of the ODI and T20I teams and a highly respected player on and off the field. He has led Australia A previously and will bring strong tactical nous and a positive approach to the role.
“Josh will receive great support from the likes of Matt Short and Adam Zampa, along with senior players including Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis.”
In the first ODI, Australia beat Pakistan by two wickets, and Mitchell Starc became the Player of the Match with three wickets. It was a fine start for the hosts and they look to dominate the visitors in the second ODI which will take place at Adelaide Oval on November 8.
