India is set to square off with Australia for a five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. This edition of the monumental series will begin with the first Test at the WACA, Perth. However, regular Indian skipper will miss the opening encounter of the series due to personal reasons.
According to Gaurav Gupta from The Times of India, Rohit Sharma will not be travelling with the Indian team for the first match of the series, labelling his absence from the Perth fixture.
