Kishan – Pandya bring India out of trouble

Pandya batted exceptionally after India’s top order was outclassed by Pakistan’s pace bowling attack. The all-rounder made 87 off 90 balls in what was a high-tension cricket match. Pandya combined with Ishan Kishan to bring India out of misery as the Men in Blue struggled at 66/4 earlier.

Kishan also brought out his consecutive 4th ODI half-century making 82 off 81 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. India’s blushes were spared by the batting duo as they got the team to a defendable total. India found itself in a very tricky position after Rohit Sharma (11) and Virat Kohli (4) were removed by a highly threatening Shaheen Afridi. Shreyas Iyer (14) and Shubman Gill (10) also failed to make their mark in the first inning and fell cheaply.
