Sri Lanka, on the other hand, had a disastrous beginning as they lost their first six wickets for just 12 runs on the board.
It was Jasprit Bumrah who struck first, taking the crucial first wicket. However, the real magic came from Siraj, who managed to take the next five wickets for a mere four runs. His exceptional rhythm caught the attention of Indian players, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya. They couldn’t help but laugh as Siraj sprinted down to long on off his own bowling when the batter played a straight shot.

Siraj, after finishing his follow-through, also joined in the chase to save the ball from going for four runs. This display of commitment by Siraj left the Indian players amused as it is not often that we see a fast bowler running off against a shot played on his own bowling to save runs.
