Yuvraj Singh has said that the late great Bishan Singh Bedi’s teachings inspire his coaching philosophy. The legendary Indian all-rounder had mentioned previously that Bedi played a major role in shaping his career. Now, Yuvraj has been mentoring talented youngsters from Punjab with ideologies similar to those of the former Indian left-arm spinner.
Yuvraj has been doing some fantastic work in Punjab cricket as he has been mentoring talents like Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. While Shubman has established himself as one of the most talented players in world cricket at the moment, Abhishek has also been making heads turn with his performances, especially in the shortest format of the game.

“See, all the people I have learned from, whether it is in cricket or life, I try and implement it in my coaching or mentoring. Sir taught me a lot of good things, I implement it. Cricket has changed a lot…Its been 5 years since I have retired. So you have to adapat to what is in demand today,” Yuvraj said while speaking to India Today.
