Snehasish Ganguly, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President, stated that a memento will be presented to star India batter Virat Kohli ahead of India’s clash against South Africa in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The two giants will be locking horns at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 5, Sunday.
Kohli turned 35 on November 5 and while talking about the celebrations on the former India captain’s special day, Ganguly stated that apart from giving a memento a special cake had been prepared for him. The CAB president also stated there would be fireworks at the match as well as light and sound shows.
“The demand for the ticket is very high. We are fully prepared for the match. We have planned some programs during the match. A small memento will be given to Virat Kohli; a special cake has been prepared for him; there will be fireworks after the match and there will be light and sound shows,” the CAB president told the media ahead of the blockbuster clash.
