‘A great joy is coming’ - Axar Patel announces wife’s pregnancy through heartwarming video

Star India all-rounder Axar Patel recently came forward and shared a wholesome video across various social media platforms. In the video, he announced the news that he and his wife Meha are expecting a baby. It is worth noting that Axar married Meha in Vadodara in a grand ceremony in January 2023.

Axar Patel was recently a part of India’s two-game Test series against Bangladesh, but he did not feature for the side across both games in Chennai and Kanpur. Furthermore, he has been rested for the ongoing three-game T20I series between both sides.

Recently, Axar went on the ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ alongside several of his teammates, where he stated that some good news might be on the way soon. Bringing that statement to reality, the star all-rounder shared the video where the couple were seen together. “A great joy is coming,” Axar captioned the post.

India set to take on Bangladesh in Delhi

Speaking of Team India and its assignments, the team is currently engaged in a three-game T20I series. The series has seen both sides face off across two Tests and one T20I so far. India won both Test matches in Chennai and Kanpur, maintaining their position in the World Test Championship standings.

Furthermore, the T20 World Cup champions got off to a brilliant start to the T20I series. Both sides locked horns in the first T20I at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, Gwalior, on October 6, and India managed to register an emphatic win.

Bowling first, India limited Bangladesh to a score of 127 runs in the first innings after an exceptional performance with the ball. Furthermore, the side followed it up with a just as impressive showing with the bat in the second innings. Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya starred with the bat as India won the first T20I by seven wickets.

For their next clash, both sides will travel to Delhi as the Men in Blue take on Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the second T20I on October 9.
