The mega auction for the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 is looming on the horizon. The marquee event will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, and it is only the second time that the event is being hosted overseas. It is worth noting that as many as 1,574 players have registered themselves for the auction and will hope that they get picked up by a franchise.

As has been the case in the past, the Indian players could once again end up attracting the highest bids due to the cap on the overseas player in a side. Continuing on the same, let us have a look at five in-form Indian players who deserve to get picked in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Here are top 5 players who deserve to be picked on their current form

5. Prasidh Krishna

Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna could be a viable option for a team looking to strengthen their pace attack. Krishna was released by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, and he could be on several teams’ radars. The star pacer last competed in the IPL in 2022, and has been unlucky with injuries ever since.

It is worth noting that with 51 IPL matches played throughout his career, Krishna has taken 49 wickets and maintains an economy of 8.92 runs. He has set his base price at INR 2 crore, and seeing his recent form, he could be a fine addition to any team with a lacking pace attack.

4. Tanush Kotian

Tanush Kotian could be another player who could fetch a good price at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 26-year-old could be another good addition to the teams looking for an affordable player in their ranks. It is worth noting that Kotian has played 24 T20s so far and has managed to score 86 runs and take 22 wickets to his name.

Kotian has only played one IPL game in his career so far and has scored 24 runs and taken no wickets. However, a team looking for an ambitious bowling all-rounder should look to go for Kotian, as the young star could develop into a serious contender and could be an investment for the future.

The brother of India batter Sarfaraz Khan, Musheer’s inclusion in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction is not confirmed yet. The youngster was recently met with a car accident ahead of his Irani Cup match and is still recovering. However, if he manages to recover and appears in the auction pool, Musheer could prove to be a fine addition to any team.

The 19-year-old is yet to play any T20 game, but his aggressive approach in first-class cricket has showcased his intentions. In the 9 FC games that he has played, Musheer has scored 716 runs and averages 51.14 runs, with a double century to his name as well.

The star pacer has set his base price at INR 2 crore, and with 65 IPL matches played, Arshdeep has taken 76 wickets. With an economy of 9.03 runs, Arshdeep could once again be the star for any franchise he plays for.

With his recent stint for team India in the longest format, Sarfaraz will hope that he can replicate his form in the IPL as well. His performance could be one that would be heavily monitored as he has been establishing himself as a star for the future for India.
