3 दिसंबर रविवार को बैंगलोर के एम चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम में खेले गए सीरीज के आखिरी टी-20 मुकाबले में भारत ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 6 रनों से हराया। इसके साथ ही टीम इंडिया ने पांच मैचों की टी-20 सीरीज 4-1 से अपने नाम किया।

सूर्यकुमार यादव की कप्तानी डेब्यू पर सीरीज जीतने के बाद उनकी जमकर तारीफ हुई। वहीं प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच अक्षर पटेल रहे, जबकि प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट रवि बिश्नोई रहे।
