Tight security arrangements at the World Cup in Qatar

And for their security, there is a flawless security system throughout the World Cup. A total of 14 countries have extended their support to Qatar in organizing a safe World Cup.

Ahead of the World Cup, the security forces have already conducted a five-day exercise called ‘Watan’. Where 17 thousand private security personnel participated along with 32 thousand government security personnel. Meanwhile, Turkey will send 3,000 police, 100 special operations police, 50 bomb experts and 40 sniffer dogs to Qatar as part of security cooperation.

The UK and Pakistan have pledged to help Qatar secure the World Cup. Pakistani troops have already reached Doha at the beginning of November. The country will deploy its cyber security experts in Qatar during the tournament. Qatar is also receiving technical support from the United States in the World Cup.

In addition, the French government has announced to send 220 troops for the security of French citizens who came to Qatar to watch the World Cup. A central command center has been set up to monitor the security camera footage of the eight World Cup stadiums. Road safety has also increased on Qatar’s roads.
