Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SUNE) will take on MI Cape Town (MICT) in the 20th match of SA20 2024 on Saturday (January 27) at St George’s Park in Gqeberha. The Eastern Cape faced the Pretoria Capitals in their last match and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Capitals were bundled out for 125 runs in 18.3 overs and only two batters managed to make more than 20 runs. Marco Jansen are the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 27 runs in 3.3 overs. Eastern Cape struggled a lot. Tristan Stubbs and Patrick Kruger added 40 runs for the fifth wicket. They could make only 122 runs for the loss of nine wickets at the end of the 20th over mark and lost the match by three runs. Eathan Bosch took one wicket for 11 runs in four overs for the Capitals and won the Player of the Match award.

MI faced the Durban Super Giants in their last game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Matthew Breetzke scored 48 runs off 46 deliveries for the Super Giants and was the highest scorer. Super Giants posted a total of 157 runs for the loss of six wickets. Thomas Kaber and George Linde took two wickets each for MI. MI managed just 121 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 36 runs. Noor Ahmad and Marcus Stoinis took three wickets each for the Super Giants.
