Similar to the first innings, the openers did not start well again, but Kane Williamson held the fort again as he hit twin centuries in the match. They declared the innings on a score of 179, setting up an insane target of 529 runs. South Africa did a much better job this time around with the bat as David Bedingham played a good knock of 87 but as expected this was never going to be enough and they lost the game by a huge margin of 281 runs.
