Preview
ISL vs LAH will clash on against each other in the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League 2024 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on March 6. Islamabad United have been successful in just two of their six games while being present at the fourth place. Lahore Qalandars, on the other hand, have played seven matches so far but have not been able to win any.
Islamabad United had played against Peshawar Zalmi in their last encounter where Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl. Islamabad lost its first wicket on the very first ball but what a turnaround they made from there. They started the innings explosively from there as batters kept finding regular boundaries. Skipper Shadab led from the front with a blistering knock of 80 from 51 balls. Jordan and Azam provided good finishing towards the end which led the team to a total of 196. Peshawar, it seemed never really arrived in the game with the bat. It was just a one-man show from Aamer Jamal who smashed 87 but did not receive aid from any other batters and as a result, they fell short of the target losing the game by 29 runs.
Lahore Qalandars had played against Peshawar Zalmi in their previous match which was held at the same venue but had to be called off due to persistent rain. The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
