Durban Super Giants will take on Pretoria Capitals in the second match of the SA20. This match will be played at Kingsmead in Durban. This season is set to be even bigger, with a number of T20 stars signing up for the tournament. The top-four teams in the six-team league will qualify for the knockouts, which will have qualifiers and an eliminator. Gqeberha is set to host the first qualifier while Centurion will stage the eliminator and second qualifier. The final will be held in Johannesburg on February 8.

Pretoria Capitals were fancied to go well last season but a play-off spot was all they could manage. Phil Salt is not coming back this year so a lot rests on the back of Will Jacks to provide them quick starts. Liam Livingstone will depart and may only play five games so there are some worries on that front. But they have a good squad this year which will be led by Rossouw. They will be looking to go deep in this edition and look to clinch the title. Gurbaz, Smeed are the other overseas players who will play a crucial role at some point. 

Durban have the batting power and arguably the top T20 batter in the world in the form of Klassen. They were the runners up last season and have signed Kane Williamson and Chris Woakes for this edition which makes them a stable team. Once again they will be led by left arm spinner Keshav Maharaj and they have the power with Quinton de kock at top and Stoinis in the middle. Noor Ahmed adds a bit of quality spin to the side along with their captain Maharaj. They will be keen to start the season well and this promises to be a thrilling match between these two sides.
