They were easily able to chase the total thereon and won the game by five wickets.

Chhattogram Challengers had played against Khulna Tigers in their last encounter where Khulna Tigers won the toss and elected to field. On the slow track of Mirpur, Challengers started slow and even lost some early wickets. However, they had a couple of decent partnerships in the middle as well due to which they were able to post a decent total of 121 runs on the board. Tigers had an aggressive approach to the chase and they did slow down a little after losing some early wickets but the target did not seem terrifying enough. They won the match by four wickets easily.

The track at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur is balanced in nature for batters as well as bowlers but the game might be dominated more by the bowlers. With good seam and swing movement off the deck, pacers are expected to do well here. Teams prefer to chase the total after winning the toss with the average first innings score being 146.
