Nicosia XI Fighters CC squared off against Cyprus Moufflons CC in their last encounter, where Cyprus Moufflons CC won the toss and elected to bowl. The Fighters started well with their innings as a 65-run opening stand formed a good base for them to build on. The batters to follow after the openers could not do much but still they posted a good total of 118 runs on the board. Cyprus started aggressively but could not save their wickets in the process. They kept losing wickets regularly and lost the game by 46 runs.

The track at the Ypsonas Cricket Ground in Limassol is quite helpful to batters in nature. With good seam and swing movement off the deck, pacers are expected to do well here.
