Abu Dhabi Knight Riders will take on Sharjah Warriors in the sixth match of the International League T20. This match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Each of the six teams will play each other twice in the league stage. The teams that finish in the top two of the table will play Qualifier 1, with the winner advancing to the final. The teams finishing third and fourth will participate in an Eliminator, a knockout fixture. The winner of the Eliminator will then play the losing team of Qualifier 1 to decide the second finalist. Dubai will host Qualifier 1 and the final, Abu Dhabi the eliminator while Qualifier 2 will take place in Sharjah.

The tournament will run till February 9 with a total of 34 games – 30 league games, two qualifiers, one eliminator and a final. This is the same as the last two seasons. Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are the other two venues.

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders suffered a defeat in the opening match against Desert Vipers by seven wickets. They put up 166/5 while batting first and could not defend it. On the other hand, Sharjah Warriors won the previous match against Gulf Giants in the last ball. It was thriller with ten runs needed of the final over and TKC pulled off the chase. This promises to be an exciting match between these two sides.
