In the IPL, Saha has represented many franchises. In his early days, Saha played for CSK and KKR. Later on, Saha became a regular in the Punjab Kings. He was a part of SRH from 2018 to 2021. From 2022, Saha has been in Gujarat Titans. Despite being one of the senior most players in the league, Saha keeps on turning up for his side.

Here are the Top 3 knocks in IPL by the wicketkeeper batter Wriddhiman Saha:

1. 115* against KKR in 2014

against KKR in 2014

It was one of the greatest performances by a batter in the history of the league. In the big final in M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, Punjab Kings were in trouble straightaway. Batting first, PBKS was reduced to 30/2. That was when Saha came to bat. Under pressure, against an attack consisting of bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel, Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine, and Piyush Chawla, Saha scored a fabulous hundred.

The number 4 batter registered the highest score by a batter in the IPL final, which remained so for four more years. In his stay in the middle, Saha scored an unbeaten 155*(55), which included 10 fours and 8 sixes. It was an incredible show of batsmanship. Saha, with the support of Manan Vohra, took his team to a total of 199 runs on the board. The efforts of Saha went in vain, as PBKS went on to lose the finals by 3 wickets.

2. 93* against MI in 2017

against MI in 2017

It was the 51st match of the season between MI and PBKS in Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. The home side opt to bowl first after winning the toss. On a very good batting surface, PBKS had to bat out of their skin to post a competitive total. The openers of PBKS had their intent alright. The duo of Saha and Martin Guptill went all guns blazing. Guptill scored 36(18) and was dismissed early.

The new batter, Glenn Maxwell, also continued smashing the bowlers. The aggressive batter raced away to 47(21) before being undone by Bumrah. It was Saha who contributed to the total well by his anchoring. The PBKS opener batted deep and scored an unbeaten 93*(55), which included 11 fours and 3 sixes. After getting settled in the middle, Saha went after the bowlers and helped PBKS to register a total of 230 runs. PBKS won the match by just 7 runs.

3. 87 against DC in 2020

against DC in 2020

It was one of the most aggressive knocks by a batter in the season. Before the match, a lot was talked about Delhi Capitals’ bowling in the season. It was indeed good with the likes of Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Tushar Deshpande, and Marcus Stoinis in the attack. Saha attacked the bowling attack of DC for fun. In the powerplay overs, Saha took on Rabada and overshadowed someone like Warner in the other end.

SRH posted a good total of 219 runs in their 20 overs. Saha scored 87 runs in 45 balls, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. Against a fantastic bowling attack, it was a very good knock. Saha was equally good against the pace duo and the spin duos of Delhi Capitals. The bowlers had no answers to his attack whatsoever. It came as a genuine surprise for the then table toppers. DC succumbed to pressure and lost the match by a huge margin of 88 runs.
