Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Predicting New Zealand's Playing XI for their final clash against South Africa

The ICC T20 Women’s World Cup 2024 final between South Africa Women and New Zealand Women is set. After winning three of the four games in Group A, New Zealand Women put on a great display to take second place. They then managed to narrowly defeat the West Indies Women to guarantee a spot in the championship game.

After their most recent encounter on October 15, 2023, New Zealand and South Africa will play in an International game for the first time in over a year. Because of this, the fixture will have very high stakes, particularly after the trophy is up for grabs.

Here is the predicting New Zealand’s Playing XI for their final clash against South Africa

The New Zealand Women’s team might not make too many changes in their line-up for their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final against South Africa. The team is performing well and that might be one of the reasons not to tinker with the line-up.

New Zealand predicted playing XI: Suzie Bates, Georgia Plimmer, Amelia Kerr, Sophie Devine (c), Brooke Halliday, Maddy Green, Isabella Gaze (wk), Rosemary Mair, Lea Tahuhu, Eden Carson, Fran Jonas

Rosemary Mair has been the White Ferns’ top bowler, with seven wickets in five games. She can catch Laura Wolvaardt quickly in the innings and is quite good with the new ball. She knows that she can trouble the batsmen most of the time, as evidenced by her 11 wickets across 11 innings with an economy of 6.31 in 2024.

In the tournament thus far, Eden Carson has also been a vital bowler for her team. She will be an essential member of your fantasy teams because of her outstanding performance in the middle overs. Carson has already taken eight wickets in five games. In 10 Twenty20 Internationals this year, she has also claimed 15 wickets at an economy rate of 7.19.

The White Ferns’ star player, Amelia Kerr, will bat at three and bowl her entire quota. Kerr has also been playing really well, particularly when he gets the ball. In five games, she has amassed 92 runs and claimed 12 wickets. She has been an MVP for her team in this event and took two wickets during the most recent match.
