Glenn Maxwell achieved a new milestone, securing the fastest ODI century by an Australian male. His maiden century came off just 51 balls against Sri Lanka at the SCG, surpassing teammate James Faulkner’s record.
The Australian all-rounder reached this remarkable feat in the 46th over of Australia’s innings, completing it six balls faster than the previous record held by the Tasmanian.
52 – Ab de Villiers vs West Indies in 2015
