The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is just a week away, as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 just ended on Sunday. The cricketers who were in the final will be joining their respective teams in the USA and West Indies. The shortest format of the game has turned over the years as the batters nowadays get more favour, as the bowlers do not have much help from the pitches, with more runs being scored all over the leagues.

Defending champions England are once again looking threatening with their squad with the team having the chance of defending their title. Australia also having a formidable and balanced side with the Kangaroos will look to win the tournament. Over the years all-rounders’ roles have been one of the most important in the white ball format of the game.

Their all-round ability with the ball and bat makes them different from the rest of the players. All-rounders will be key in the upcoming marquee event for every side that is participating in the tournament. Jadeja had a decent outing in the recently concluded IPL as his side failed to qualify for the playoffs. However, he would like to bring back all his experience for the national side and perform well in the World Cup in order to help India to lift their second trophy, with some pitches in West Indies will be slow and turning helping him as a spinner and his lower order batting will also be a key for the side.

3. Glenn Maxwell

The Aussie all-rounder was not at his best in the rich cash league as he failed to perform and also got dropped from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) playing XI as well. Maxwell has always been a crucial man for Australia in the middle overs and his bowling getting improved a bit he will surely look to get back his touch for  the Kangaroos.

2. Will Jacks

The English all-rounder has been one of the stars for the three lions in recent years. Jacks have been an explosive top order batter and his off spin provides more depth to the side. He has been a good performer for RCB in the toughest franchise league. However with his batting at No.3 he will definitely be a player to watch out for in the World Cup.
