Notably, the SRH team piled up 277/3 in the given 20 overs owing to magnificent batting performances from Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, and Heinrich Klaasen, which helped them post the great total.

Notably, a total of 523 runs were scored during the eighth match of IPL 2024. SRH was able to post 277/3 in the given 20 overs. However, during the chase, the Mumbai Indians were too good, and they also piled up an impressive 246/5 in the given 20 overs. In addition to this, Mumbai Indians batters with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Tilak Varma, Tim David, and R. Shepherd tried extremely hard to chase down the total, but they lost their crucial wickets, losing the game.

Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah showed his classic form, as his economy was just 9, while the rest of the bowlers conceded too many runs with an economy between 14 and 17. However, the right-arm seamer was able to save his side from humiliation and restricted them to 277/3 in the given 20 overs. In addition, SRH seamer Pat Cummins also showed his great form, as his economy was also 8.75, and he went on to pick the crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma and Tilak Varma, who were outstanding in the game and may have guided their side to victory if they were not out in the game.
