The Indians have been in great form in T20I’s and have had a successful tour of Zimbabwe winning 4-1 under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. The team will now go to Sri Lanka where they will feature in another 3- match T20I series starting from the 27th of July. This will be another series to look forward to with some new and young players in the setup. The team will be under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav and we all will hope that they finish the series on a high.
This is a very interesting squad after the retirements of the T20 greats in Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who has chosen to give way to the new generation. We have already seen how talented these individuals are and it will be great to see how they perform in this series. The players that are involved will be someone that the Lankan team should watch out for as they can go onto surprise on the day.

So, here are the top 3 players to watch out for from India’s T20I squad against Sri Lanka:
3. Riyan Parag
Riyan Parag is one of the upcoming players in the setup who has given some great performances in the IPL. However, his debut series against Zimbabwe was more or less forgettable where he could not score many runs at all. This is an opportunity for him to finally live up to the high expectations. Parag will hope that he gets a chance to prove himself and show everyone that he deserves to be in the team.
2. Washington Sundar
Washington Sundar has finally made his return to the Indian side and he has just won a man of the series award in Zimbabwe. The all rounder proved to come in handy on the slow and low tracks in that series and we are sure that he will be an asset in the Island nation as well. Sundar can also play some great knocks and cameos with the bat and it will be great to see him play some in the upcoming series.
1. Rinku Singh
There was one name in the T20 World Cup all of us were missing and that was Rinku Singh. Though the swashbuckling southpaw known for his finishing was in the reserves he still did not manage to make it into the squad. Rinku did play some great knocks in the Zimbabwe series and he still has an average of 83.2 in T20 internationals. Rinku Singh will be one of the dangerous batters to look out for in T20I’s and we all will want to see him perform in this series as well. The Indian fans will be ready for his big hits in the series.
