Top 3 player battles for DC vs LSG match on 14th May

The Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants are all set to face off in the 64th game of IPL 2024, which is slated to take place on May 14 at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. Notably, KL Rahul-led LSG is in the seventh spot with six wins and six losses in the league. However, the Delhi Capitals are in the sixth spot with just six wins and seven losses in the tournament so far.

This forthcoming match promises to be the key battle between both teams as both sides wish to turn things around to mark their comeback in the ongoing league and make it to the playoffs.

In the same vein, here are the top three battles to watch out for ahead of the DC vs. LSG clash.

1. Rishabh Pant vs. Ravi Bishnoi

This is the game’s most important battle, to be sure. DC skipper Pant is set to make an impact in the middle overs of the game as he is in sublime form. However, the right-handed batter has struggled to bat against LSG spinner Ravi Bishnoi.

Ravi Bishnoi has dismissed him twice, and he has only scored 54 runs against him with a strike rate of 115 with 21 dot balls.

2. Jake Fraser-McGurk vs. Naveen-ul-Haq

The young player got off to a magnificent start to his IPL career and went on to score a brilliant fifty on his debut. Notably, the star player helped his side win against LSG in their last clash, as he made 55 runs from just 35 balls.

However, Naveen-ul-Haq was the one who dismissed him in the last game and conceded just five runs off five balls to him.

3. Nicholas Pooran vs. Kuldeep Yadav

Notably, Pooran seems to be in great form in over half of the edition; however, he seems to be struggling this time, especially in the last few matches. However, star spinner Kuldeep Yadav had dismissed him around six times in international cricket and bowled him out on a duck in the last game.

It will be an interesting battle between these two in the next game.
