South Africa’s tour of West Indies was a successful one as the Proteas on the series, 1-0. They went to play a 2-match Test series and a 3-match T20I series. While the first Test match was a draw, the second one went in their favor as they won by 40 runs. The Caribbean team is at the end of the WTC points table and have no hopes of qualifying for the WTC finals now. 1. Tristan Stubbs
Tristan Stubbs, South Africa’s young batter has settled down in red-ball cricket and played some amazing knock in the 2-match series. He scored 68 runs off 50 balls, including six boundaries and two sixes in the first Test match. He did considerably well in the first innings as well. Moreover, in the 2nd Test, he played well in both innings, which helped South Africa.

2. Keshav Maharaj
The next best batter of the Proteas is Keshav Maharaj, who bowled 40 overs in the 2nd innings from one end in the 1st Test. He set a new record, which will be challenging to break in the coming years. Also, he also claimed four wickets in the second innings. In the 2nd Test match, he claimed five wickets in two innings and hence, won the Player of the Series award, which is an achievement.
3. Temba Bhavuma
Skipper Temba Bhavuma is an extraordinary player who plays well in red-ball cricket. Even in the 1st Test match, he stood like a pillar and scored 86 runs off 182 balls, including seven boundaries and one six. In the 2nd Test match, he didn’t do much with the bat, but his captaincy was on point and helped South Africa win, which was extremely important.
